Biography

Briana Evigan was born in Los Angeles, California, on October 23, 1986. She is the daughter of actors Pamela and Greg Evigan and is the youngest of three. She has an older brother (Jason) and an older sister (Vanessa). Both her siblings, like her parents, are in the industry. Vanessa is an actress and Jason is the lead singer in a band named 'After Midnight Project'.

In 1996, when she was only 10 years old, Briana made her acting debut in the film 'House of the Damned' as a little girl whose family is haunted by their ancestors that practiced black magic in the house they live in. The film also starred her father, Greg.

In 2003 Briana appeared in Linkin Park's music video for their single called 'Numb'. The clip was filmed in summer 2003 in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic.

After graduation you could see her twice. In 2004 in a movie called 'Bottoms Up', starring Paris Hilton, and in 2005 in a music video for her brother's band's single 'Something Sweet'.

In 2007 Briana earned her breakout role as Andie in the sequel of a hit movie 'Step Up' called 'Step Up 2 The Streets'. The movie came out on a Valentine's Day 2008 and in many countries became the most visited movie of the year. Briana and her co-star Robert Hoffman won the 2008 Best Kiss Award at the MTV Movie Awards. Later that year and for the same role, Briana was nominated for the 2008 Choice Movie Breakout Female at the Teen Choice Awards.

Briana jumped from the big to the small screen in 2008 when she accepted a role in an epizode of a popular TV show 'Fear Itself'. In the epizode 'New Year's Day' Briana played a young girl Helen who wakes up in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by horrifying zombies. She must fight the murderous creatures at every turn, right up until the shocking, horrifying end.

Almost the whole year 2008 Briana spent filming four different movies. 'S.Darko' movie has already come out on DVD&Blue-Ray and you can find it in your nearest store. 'Subject: I Love You' was filmed in the Philippines and is supposed to be released later this year. This movie follows the real life story of a man who went just a wee bit too far for the one he loved. It is a romantic movie based on the I Love U computer virus which wreaked havoc on pc’s in the 90’s made by a Filipino.

'Burning Bright' is a movie about a 20 year-old girl who wakes late at night during a hurricane, she finds a hungry tiger stalking her through the halls of her home. With every door and window boarded up from the outside and her stepfather nowhere to be found, Kelly fights frantically to stay one step ahead of the killer beast while dragging her autistic brother Tom through the house, but with every turn the situation becomes more complicated and desperate. There is no release date for this one yet.

Briana's most anticipated movie called 'Sorority Row', starring also Rumer Willis, Jamie Chung and Margo Harshman came out in October 2009. It is about a group of sorority sisters trying to cover up the death of their house-sister after a prank gone wrong, only to be stalked by a serial killer.

Briana's movie "Mother's Day", "Subject: I Love You", "Monster Heroes", "Stash House", "Rites of Passage" and "Mine Games" should all come out soon.
